I use art as a way to explore music, drawing, color and imagination with students at CALLS: Center for Adolescents to Learn to Love and Serve. Calls is a Center in Portsmouth, Dominica for teens that for many reasons are not enrolled in a regular high school. I learn as i teach how not to teach and find joy without judgment through art. Portraits and Self-Portraits...
Today we worked on Portraiture and Self Portraiture. A very sweet young woman told me: "I liked this a lot because there is so much rage inside me and I can not get it out, I can only write it or draw it"
